Eloy Jimenez Homers In First Rehab Game
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (pectoral) hit a two-run home run in his first rehab game with High-A Winston Salem on Saturday. He finished 2-for-4 after the game was rained out on Friday night. The 24-year-old suffered a ruptured left pectoral tendon on March 24 in spring training and has yet to make his 2021 season debut. Jimenez is one of the best young sluggers in the game and hit .296/.332/.559 with 14 home runs and 41 RBI in 226 plate appearances in the shortened 2020 season. In his rookie year in 2019, he had 31 home runs, 79 RBI and 69 runs scored in 122 games. If he's not already, Jimenez needs to be picked up and stashed in all fantasy formats for when he makes his 2021 season debut.
