5 years agoNew York Yankees designated hitter/first baseman Edwin Encarnacion (oblique) is on the roster for the American League Division Series against the Twins and is likely to serve as the DH in Game 1 on Friday. Encarnacion hasn't played since Sept. 13, but he and the team are convinced he's healthy after he worked out on Wednesday. "I felt nothing. I feel 100 percent and ready to go. I let it go in the cage with the machine, and I didn’t feel nothing," Encarnacion said. The veteran slugger hit 13 home runs and drove in 37 runs in 44 games with the Yankees this year. He still has the pop, but Encarnacion will be an all-or-nothing DFS play in this series.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
