Drew Lock Sees Snaps With First-Team Offense
Drew Lock is expected to be the backup to Geno Smith to begin the season. However, the organization wants to give both players an opportunity to show what they can do. On Friday, Lock took first-team snaps on offense, which is a bit surprising. Smith has received a bulk of the work early in camp, but they also want to see what they have in Lock. The former second round pick has failed to make much of an impact through his first three seasons. There's a chance he does receive starts in Seattle, but Smith seems like the more reliable option between the two players.
