Draymond Green Ejected For Stomping
2 years agoGolden State Warriors forward/center Draymond Green got involved in another controversial playoff moment in Monday's Game 2 against the Kings, stomping on Domantas Sabonis to get ejected from the game. With around seven minutes to go in regulation, Green and Sabonis got tangled up under the Warriors basket. After falling to the floor, Sabonis grabbed Green's leg to prevent him from running up the court and the Warriors man responded by stomping on Sabonis' chest. Green was assessed a flagrant 2 foul for the incident, which resulted in an automatic ejection. Sabonis was handed a technical foul. It was a frustrating evening all around for Green, who had five turnovers in 31 minutes. He finished with eight points, four rebounds, five assists and one steal. Green will need to control his emotions better in the upcoming games if the Warriors want to avoid an early exit from the playoffs.
