Donte Moncrief Meshing Well With Steelers
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Donte Moncrief is with his third team in as many years, but his experience in the league is helping him adjust quicker than most. Signing with the Steelers in mid-March, Moncrief is one of the team's options to try and make up for the loss of Antonio Brown. As a Jaguar last year, Moncrief caught 48 balls for 668 yards and three touchdowns. However, saying that Ben Roethlisberger is an upgrade over Blake Bortles and Cody Kessler is an understatement, and the 25-year-old is doing everything he can to get in sync with veteran quarterback. "I feel like you can tell from practice. He's trusting me," the receiver said. Moncrief will have another chance to make a good impression when training camp starts in late July.
