Donald Parham Jr. Won't Play In Week 16
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Donald Parham Jr. (concussion) wasn't able to clear the league's concussion protocol this week and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans. Parham had a scary moment in last Thursday's overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs when his helmet slammed to the turf and knocked him out. He was immobilized, carted off the field and taken to a hospital, where he stayed overnight. Parham avoided a serious neck/head injury, but he will not play this week and might also miss Week 17. With receiver Jalen Guyton on the COVID-19 list, veteran tight end Jared Cook could be in line for a few more targets this weekend in an excellent matchup against Houston. Still, Cook hasn't been a very reliable fantasy tight end and should be considered a touchdown-dependent TE2.
