Dolphins Unlikely To Pursue Tom Brady
5 years agoThe Miami Dolphins are unlikely to strongly pursue New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who is set to become a free agent in March, according to one source. “We’re a team that’s building, and I don’t know why he’d really want to come to the Dolphins. He’s been one of the fiercest competitors there is and we’re at the stage with the Dolphins trying to really build a team for the future,” owner Stephen Ross said. Miami is interested in having Ryan Fitzpatrick lead the Dolphins under center while mentoring a draft prospect as the team continues to rebuild. If Brady leaves New England, he'll be looking for a team with a chance to compete for a title. The Dolphins are not that.
