Devin Duvernay 2023 NFL Player Outlook: Won’t See As Much Offensive Action Compared To 2022
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay started as the team's WR2 to begin the 2022 season. The Ravens needed more offensive weapons, and Duvernay was called upon for a more prominent role. He has been a reliable kick/punt returner in his first couple of seasons, but 2022 saw more offensive involvement for Duvernay. He put together a career year on offense with 37 catches for 407 yards and three touchdowns. The 25-year-old averaged 8.29 PPR fantasy points per game and had six double-digit fantasy performances. But he will see a different level of success in 2023, given the Ravens revamped wide receiver room. Baltimore signed Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year deal this offseason and selected Zay Flowers in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Rashod Bateman (foot) underwent season-ending surgery for a Lisfranc injury last season and is expected to be ready for training camp. Still, if he's ready to go by Week 1 -- along with Beckham and Flowers -- Duvernay will slot in behind the trio. The team also signed Nelson Agholor in March so that he could fall even lower on the depth chart. Duvernay should only be drafted in deeper leagues and is ranked 294th overall on RotoBaller, which aligns with his current FFPC ADP of 339.71.
