Deshaun Watson Still Wants To Be Traded
4 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson will not take the field for organized team activities over the next three weeks and still wants to be traded, according to sources. Watson initially requested a trade in January before he was accused in 22 separate lawsuits in March and April of sexual assault and misconduct during massage sessions. The NFL and the Houston Police Department are currently investigating the accusations, and Watson could face punishment under the league's personal-conduct policy and could be put on the commissioner's exempt list. Because a potential suspension from the league looms in 2021, the 25-year-old signal-caller will be a very risky fantasy asset in single-year leagues until his legal situation is cleared up. Despite his off-the-field situation, teams are still interested in trading for him.
