Derek Hill Exits Wednesday’s Game Early
4 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Derek Hill was removed early from Wednesday's game against the Mariners with a right shoulder sprain. He sustained the injury after crashing into the outfield wall during the bottom of the first inning. Hill didn't register an at-bat and was replaced by Akil Baddoo. The severity of Hill's injury is unknown at this time and he's considered day-to-day. Entering Wednesday's contest, the 25-year-old flashed his speed by swiping a bag in three straight games. Baddoo would see an uptick in playing time if Hill requires a trip to the injured list.
