According to agent David Canter, former Dallas Cowboys edge rusher DeMarcus Lawrence (foot) is signing an undisclosed deal with the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday. Lawrence, a four-time Pro Bowler, will head to the NFC West after spending the first 11 years of his NFL career with the Cowboys. The former second-round pick (34th overall) in 2014 out of Boise State only ended up playing in four games in 2024 in his final season in Dallas due to a right mid-foot sprain. The 32-year-old veteran had only 14 tackles (seven solo), three sacks, five QB hits and a forced fumble in four games before going on Injured Reserve. Lawrence had 25 sacks in 2017 and 2018 but hasn't exceeded 6.5 sacks in a single season since. Still, if healthy, Lawrence will give Seattle's defensive line an experienced edge-rushing presence after accumulating 61.5 sacks in his 11 seasons.--Keith Hernandez
