David Price Feeling Great
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher David Price posted a clip of him throwing on Twitter on Tuesday and said he's "never felt better." Price was traded from the Red Sox in the swap involving outfielder Mookie Betts last February, but the left-hander elected not to play in 2020 due to concerns amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The 35-year-old former Cy Young winner went 7-5 with a 4.28 ERA and 128 strikeouts in 22 starts for Boston in 2019, a year after helping the club win the 2018 World Series against the Dodgers. Manager Dave Roberts said in December that he was unsure if Price would pitch this year, but it looks like he's ramping up to be ready to go. Although taking a year off in his mid-30s isn't ideal, Price could be an intriguing bargain among fantasy starters this season with an excellent offense backing him.
