David Njoku Questionable For Week 5
3 years agoCleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) is questionable for Week 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers after getting in a limited practice on Friday. Njoku missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, so his return to practice Friday will give him a chance to suit up on Sunday. Through four games, Njoku has seven catches on 10 targets for 111 yards, which leads Cleveland's tight ends. Austin Hooper, who has 97 yards and a touchdown on a team-high 16 targets among the TEs, will become a more attractive TE2 sleeper if Njoku is inactive, but he'll also be sharing the workload with Harrison Bryant. The tight end position is hard to trust in Cleveland in this committee approach, but Hooper or Bryant could break out with a big game if Njoku is out. The Chargers have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends.
