The Cincinnati Reds activated right-handed reliever David Hernandez (shoulder) from the 10-day disabled list on Friday. To make room on the 25-man roster, the Reds optioned Phil Gosselin to Triple-A Louisville. Hernandez opened the season on the DL with a shoulder issue and made three rehab appearances in Triple-A.
