Darren Waller Secures Four Catches In Return
12 months agoNew York Giants tight end Darren Waller secured four of his six targets for 40 yards in the team's 24-6 loss to the New Orleans Saints. This was the veteran's first game back from an extended stint on injured reserve with a hamstring ailment. Waller tied with Darius Slayton and Wan'Dale Robinson for the team lead in receptions and finished just behind Slayton in yards. The majority of his production, however, came from one 29-yard catch in the second quarter. The entire New York passing game is still one of the worst in the NFL. Waller will be a fringe starting tight end next week against the Philadelphia Eagles.
