Two-time Stanley Cup champion Darren Helm is retiring from the NHL. The 36-year-old wraps things up following a 16-year career in the NHL. He became a Stanley Cup champion already in his rookie year with Detroit back in 2008 and then won the biggest prize in hockey again in 2022 with Colorado. The speedy forward reportedly already considered retirement last summer but decided to come back for another season. Helm ended up battling various injuries in 2022-23 and suited up just 11 times for the Avalanche. He played in 823 total career games, scoring 119 goals and registering 266 points.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
