Darnell Mooney Puts In Limited Practice
1 year agoChicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney (knee) was listed as a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. After playing 84 percent of the offensive snaps in the season opener, Mooney suffered a knee injury in the Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and played just 28 percent of the snaps while not catching a single pass. The good news is that Mooney's knee ailment isn't serious, so he has a chance to play this weekend as the Bears look to get their first win of the year against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 25-year-old was seen as a potential bounce-back candidate in 2023 after an injury-plagued 2022 campaign, but it's hard to trust any Chicago pass-catcher right now with how bad their passing attack has looked through the first two weeks of the season.
