D'Andre Swift Has Solid Matchup Despite QB Uncertainty
4 years agoDetroit Lions rookie running back D'Andre Swift could be in line for a high volume of carries in Week 15 against the Titans. For starters, quarterback Matthew Stafford (ribs) has been unable to practice and is very questionable to play in Week 15. With wide receiver Kenny Golladay (hip) and running back Adrian Peterson (forearm) listed on the injury report, the Lions offensive depth is as thin as it's been all season. Enter the rookie Swift, who returned to action last week with 50 all-purpose yards and one touchdown. He will go up against a Titans Defense that is allowing the seventh most fantasy points to opposing running backs, including 10 rushing touchdowns. Nine different backs this season have posted at least 60 rushing yards against the Titans, which is a solid starting point for forecasting Swift's production in Week 15. If he can pop in a touchdown, Swift will provide RB2 value this weekend.
