Dalvin Cook Works With Rehab Group Thursday
1 year agoNew York Jets running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder) was in uniform at training camp on Thursday but was working in the rehab area with other injured players. The Jets just signed the former Minnesota Vikings RB to a deal on Monday, and he's not expected to start practicing with the team for at least another week after recovering from offseason shoulder surgery. Breece Hall (knee) was just activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list this week as well after suffering a torn ACL in his rookie season in 2022. The Jets plan on using Cook as their lead back early in the regular season while easing Hall in, but the 28-year-old Cook still needs to learn New York's offense in a short amount of time. As the season progresses, Hall should see his workload increase. Cook should be considered an RB3/flex in upcoming fantasy drafts.
