Dak Prescott Has Successful Surgery, Out 4-6 Months
4 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (ankle) underwent successful surgery on Sunday night for a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle, according to a source. Prescott is expected to be released from the hospital on Monday, and a source told ESPN that the Cowboys QB will face a recovery timetable of four to six months. "He is an inspiration to everyone he touches. He has all of our love and support. And we have no doubt that he will return to the position of leadership and purpose that he brings to our team," owner Jerry Jones said. Prescott ends his 2020 season with 1,690 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions in five games. The team will move forward with Andy Dalton as the starter under center, and he could become a decent QB2 streamer with all the weapons Dallas has around him.
