Cuban prospects Victor Victor Mesa and Victor Mesa Jr. will hold a workout for all 30 teams on Oct. 5 at Marlins Park. Pitcher Sandy Gaston, who is also from Cuba, will also be at the workout. Mesa is a 22-year-old outfield prospect who is widely regarded as the top available player in the international signing period that began on July 2. The Marlins and Orioles are believed to be the two most aggressive teams and have the largest international signing bonus pools among MLB teams.
