The Dallas Cowboys are working on a contract extension to bring eight-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Tyron Smith back for a 13th season, which could include a restructured contract, according to sources. Smith is due $13.6 million in 2023 in the final year of his deal. Some have predicting the Cowboys to potentially move on from Smith this offseason after he played in just four games in 2023 due to an avulsion fracture in his left knee. The 32-year-old recently had a cleanup procedure and will be hoping to be ready for training camp this summer. The former ninth overall pick in 2011 has played in a combined 17 games the last three years and has become much harder to rely on for Dallas' O-line.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
