Courtland Sutton Leads Broncos With 68 Receiving Yards
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton was tied with Tim Patrick for third on the team with five targets in the 17-14 Thursday night loss to the Cleveland Browns, but he caught all five of his targets for a team-high 68 yards. The Broncos offense only had two first downs in the first half and just didn't have much urgency throughout the game on the road on a short week. The good news is that the 26-year-old looks fully healthy after tearing his ACL last year. The impending return of Jerry Jeudy (ankle) in Week 8 is a bit concerning for Sutton's overall target share, but he should continue to have WR2 upside, especially against a Washington Football Team defense next Sunday that hasn't really been able to slow anyone down this year.
