Cordarrelle Patterson Quiet Against Washington
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson had a quiet performance in the team's 19-13 Week 12 loss to the Washington Commanders. The veteran running back had 11 rushing attempts for 52 yards in Week 12. Meanwhile, the rookie Tyler Allgeier also had 11 rushing attempts for 54 yards. However, Patterson had three receptions for 19 receiving yards, while the rookie didn't have a reception in the game. After being the featured back to start the year, the former first-round pick finds himself in a split backfield with Allgeier. More importantly, the veteran running back has averaged only 8.7 rushing attempts for 40.7 yards and 7.3 half-point PPR fantasy points over the past three weeks. Fantasy players should view Patterson as a limited flex option for the rest of the year.
