Connor Brown Joins Oilers On One-Year Deal
1 year agoThe Edmonton Oilers have agreed to a one-year contract with Connor Brown. Coming off an ACL surgery, the 29-year-old winger has received a deal with a base salary of $775k with $3.25 million in possible performance bonuses. This is an exciting move for Brown, who will be linking up with his junior linemate Connor McDavid. With the cap hit being less than $800k, it's also a great deal for the team. The knee injury limited Brown to only four appearances with Washington last season, but he is only a couple of years removed from a 20-goal campaign. In 448 total career games, Brown has managed 90 goals and 216 points.
