Seattle Mariners shortstop prospect Colt Emerson continues to find success at the top level of the Seattle system and remains a high-end hitting prospect to stash in all formats. Over the last seven games at Triple-A Tacoma, Emerson has gone deep twice while swiping one bag with a 12:5 K:BB. Overall, the team's No. 1-ranked prospect has held a .234/.342/.547 slash line with seven doubles, four home runs, and seven stolen bases. Last summer, the former 22nd-overall selection spent time in the lower levels of the Seattle system and remains just one step away from joining the MLB roster. Even though there is no clear spot on the MLB roster for Emerson, as Cole Young has held his own at the keystone and veteran J.P. Crawford remains the primary shortstop, Emerson remains the top candidate to earn the call following a major injury.--Andy Smith
