Cole Custer finished in the top ten last week at Talladega which played a heavy part in the NASCAR metrics system this week. The result is a tenth-place start on Sunday for the Stewart-Haas Racing driver. In two races at Kansas last year, Custer finished seventh and 14th. He was able to maintain track position late both times in the final laps. That could be pivotal on Sunday. His upside may be limited as far as to place differential but the No. 41 will be able to stay on the lead lap at the bare minimum. A top-ten result is plausible at the least. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
