Cole Carrigg Showcasing Elite Hitting And Speed In June
6 months agoColorado Rockies utility prospect Cole Carrigg turned in another stellar performance on Wednesday, where he tallied four hits and stole three bases. Since June 1, the 22-year-old has swiped six bags, with a .489/.540/.644 line. Through his first 52 games at the High-A level this season, the San Diego State product has looked quite comfortable with a .298/.381/.478 slash line, 24 stolen bases, and five home runs. While his power potential is quite low, Carrigg has elite contact and speed that should continue to play well throughout the minor leagues. Dynasty managers should keep a close eye on Carrigg as he is developing into one of the best base stealers in the minors and could reach Double-A later this summer.
