Coby Mayo Headed To Baltimore
3 months agoBaltimore Orioles third base prospect Coby Mayo is set to rejoin the major league roster when the rosters expand, according to Matt Weyrich of the Baltimore Sun. The budding star got a brief taste of the major leagues earlier this summer but struggled as he went 1-for-17 across his first seven major league games. However, at Triple-A this season, the former fourth-round pick posted an incredible .293/.369/.574 slash line with 22 home runs, 23 doubles, and 67 RBI. Even though Mayo struggled through his first stint in the big leagues, fantasy managers should look to add the No.9 prospect in the sport, according to MLB.com, where he is available. He has high power potential and could still find an everyday role in the Baltimore lineup if he settles in at the plate.
