Christopher Bell A Big Sleeper For Bristol
5 years agoLeavine Family Racing's Christopher Bell drew the 35th starting spot for Sunday's Food City presents the Supermarket Heroes 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway. Bell has been running a lot stronger since the Cup Series resumed a couple of weeks ago and now heads to a type of track well within his wheelhouse. Bell won an Xfinity Series race last year at BMS and has an incredible record on short tracks, winning six of his last 12 Xfinity races run at Bristol, Richmond and Iowa, all tracks under a mile. Starting from the back and being a relatively cheap option, Bell will be targeted by a lot of DFS players and could very well finish in the top 10. Let's not forget that the No. 95 team almost went to victory lane the last time the Cup Series was at BMS in August with Matt DiBenedetto.
