Christian Yelich Back in Monday's Lineup
Christian Yelich (hand) is back in the team's starting lineup for Monday's series opener against the division-rival Cincinnati Reds and right-hander Brady Singer at Great American Ball Park, serving as the designated hitter and batting cleanup. X-rays came back negative on Yelich's right hand after he was hit by a pitch on Sunday against the Philadelphia Phillies, and he'll be back a day after leaving the game early. Fantasy managers are hoping that his hand injury won't affect the way he's been swinging the bat of late. The 33-year-old former MVP and three-time All-Star is currently riding an eight-game hitting streak in which he's batting .472 (17-for-36) with five home runs, a double, 13 RBI, two steals and 10 runs scored. Yelich needs to be returned to all starting fantasy lineups. In six career at-bats versus Singer, he's hitting .167 with an RBI.
