3 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for the Week 5 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It's a bummer for fantasy managers after McCaffrey was trending toward a possible return after feeling good in practice all week. CMS is now on track to miss his second straight game with the Panthers being extra careful with their star running back. Rookie Chuba Hubbard now appears to be in line for his second straight start after going for 71 scrimmage yards on 15 touches in a Week 4 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Royce Freeman and Rodney Smith were also involved, but Hubbard saw 13 of the 16 running back carries. The rookie will have RB2 upside against an Eagles defense that has been a top-10 fantasy matchup for opposing RBs so far this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
