The Colorado Rockies selected Miami pitcher Chris McMahon with the 46th overall pick in the second round in the 2020 MLB draft on Thursday. McMahon was a three-sport athlete in high school and was taken in the 33rd round out of high school. The right-hander has a fastball that sits in the mid-90s, and he has the stuff to succeed as a starter at the next level. McMahon also features a slider/curveball and a very good changeup that gets ground-ball outs. The 21-year-old can get a little flat with his arm and can get hit around at times, but when he's on, he has the complete package.--Keith HernandezRead More News
