New York Rangers winger Chris Kreider opened the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs with a historical achievement, becoming the franchise's all-time leading postseason goal-scorer. He entered Game 1 against New Jersey tied with Rod Gilbert at the top of the list and moved past the Hall of Famer with a power-play goal 9:30 into the first period. Kreider then added a second power-play tally in the third to jump to 36 playoff goals and help the team to a nice 5-1 victory. It was Kreider's fourth multi-goal outing in the playoffs and only four Rangers players have more of them. Kreider took a step back during the regular season, but he looks set for another productive playoff campaign.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
