Chris Carson Lands On Injured Reserve
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson (neck) was placed on Injured Reserve on Friday, joining quarterback Russell Wilson (finger). Both Carson and Wilson will now miss at least the next three games. Carson missed last Thursday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams and was ruled out for Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night before going on IR. Alex Collins will continue to serve as the primary running back after handling 15 of the team's 20 carries last week. DeeJay Dallas And Travis Homer will serve as change-of-pace backs and in obvious passing situations. Seattle's offense will struggle to move the ball consistently with quarterback Geno Smith under center, so Collins makes for a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex on Sunday night. He's currently rostered in just 35% percent of Yahoo leagues, but that number figures to go up considerably with Carson out at least another three games.
