The Kansas City Chiefs continue to ask about Seattle Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas, according to a team source. However, the source admits that it would be a difficult trade to pull off. The interest in Thomas isn't related to concerns over the health of safety Eric Berry (heel), who has yet to play this year. The Chiefs are hoping Berry can resume on-field work this week as he fights back from a ruptured Achilles in the season opener in 2017. It's more realistic that Berry will return in Week 5 against the Jaguars. Safety Daniel Sorensen (knee, leg) also hasn't played at all this year. Thomas had two interceptions in Week 3 against the Cowboys and would make an immediate impact for a vulnerable KC secondary.--Keith HernandezRead More News
