St. Louis Cardinals starting pitching prospect Chen-Wei Lin posted one of his best starts of his 2024 campaign on Thursday evening as he tossed seven shutout frames with seven punchouts. He allowed just three hits and one free pass. Lin carried a hefty 6.43 ERA through July so this is a great sign as the 22-year-old is getting back on track. Through his second look at Single-A ball this summer, Lin has held a solid 3.24 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and a 30:91 BB:K ratio. Last summer, the right-hander allowed ten earned runs across 11 frames of work at Single-A. Lin is considered the 22nd-best prospect in the Cardinal system on MLB.com and remains several seasons away from his major league debut.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
