Chase Claypool, James Washington Cleared For Week 6
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receivers Chase Claypool (hamstring) and James Washington (groin) were both removed from the final injury report for Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night. Claypool and Diontae Johnson are the clear top two receivers for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, and Claypool has an even higher fantasy ceiling with JuJu Smith-Schuster (shoulder) out for the rest of the season. The Notre Dame product had 130 yards and found the end zone in the Week 5 win over the Denver Broncos and will be a strong WR2 choice against a Seattle team allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to receivers this year. Washington will return after missing last week and should be in three-receiver sets behind Claypool and Johnson. There is some deep-league and DFS sleeper potential for Washington in this matchup.
