Charges Against Robby Anderson Dropped
7 years agoFelony charges against New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson in connection with his January arrest have been dropped. He allegedly threatened to sexually assault the arresting officer's wife, but he still faces misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and faces a felony charge from a separate arrest. Anderson initially faced nine charges, including fleeing and eluding police with lights and sirens active, threatening a public servant or family member and speeding. It's good news for Anderson, but the fact that he continues to have off-field incidents is concerning for the organization. In his second season in the NFL, the 24-year-old had 63 catches for 941 yards and seven touchdowns, breaking out for fantasy owners. He should be a fine low-end WR2 for fantasy owners again this year, but the uncertainty surrounding the quarterback situation in New York doesn't help his cause.
