Florida Panthers left wing Carter Verhaeghe bagged three assists as the team managed to stay alive against Boston Wednesday with a 4-3 victory in overtime. The 27-year-old winger completed his hat trick of assists on Matthew Tkachuk's game-winner 6:05 into overtime. Verhaeghe set a new franchise record for most points in a potential elimination game. The Panthers continue to struggle to keep the puck out of their net, but they got some great offensive talent with the likes of Verhaeghe and Tkachuk and could still make this a seven-game series, with the next game on home ice Friday. Verhaeghe is averaging a point per game in the series through five games, but he has totaled only one point at home.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
