Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart sustained an upper-body injury in Friday's 6-5 loss against Carolina. He had a very brief night at the office, entering the game in a relief effort for Samuel Ersson with 7:58 played in the second period but leaving 10 minutes later after getting hurt when Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen shoved a Hurricanes player into him. Hart gave up one goal on seven shots. With the team now off to the holiday break, Hart will have some good recovery time, but it's currently unknown if he will be game-ready on Dec. 29 when Philadelphia continues its season with a matchup against San Jose. Hart has a 10-11-6 record for the campaign with a 2.89 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
