Carlos Correa Out With Illness
3 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (illness) is out of the starting lineup on Friday against the New York Yankees due to an illness. Make sure to replace Correa in your daily starting lineups. Hopefully, he'll be back for the final two games of the series against New York to close out the first half of the season. Correa is having a career year in 2021 with 16 home runs, 61 runs scored, 52 RBI and a .288/.385/.510 slash line in 306 at-bats. He's no longer providing stolen bases, but if he keeps hitting like this, his fantasy managers will live with it. Robel Garcia is at short and hitting ninth on Friday against Yankees left-hander Nestor Cortes. The matchup is nice, but Garcia has just 13 hits (one homer) in 76 at-bats (.171) on the season, so you're better off looking for higher-upside options at the 6.
