1 year agoBrooklyn Nets guard/forward Cam Thomas (ankle) will undergo an MRI scan on Thursday. The 22-year-old sprained his left ankle in Wednesday's win over the Clippers and could now be out for a bit. Thomas has exploded to the scene this season and sat among the league's top scorers before being forced to settle for 14 points Wednesday due to his injury. The Nets return to action Friday night in Boston, with Lonnie Walker IV and Dennis Smith Jr. poised for bigger roles if Thomas is out. Walker IV has already done very well off the Brooklyn bench this season and should receive a further boost with additional minutes.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
