Edmonton Oilers goaltender Cam Talbot was on top of his game in his first taste of action since Nov. 25, stopping 28 of 30 shots against en route to earning his sixth win of the campaign. This was the kind of performance needed from the 31-year-old in an attempt to get in good graces with new Oilers' head coach Ken Hitchcock. Talbot had been jettisoned to the backup role recently (had started just two of his team's past ten games) and Wednesday's performance could go a long way to getting the netminder back on track. He'll carry a 3.19 goals-against average and a .892 save percentage into his next start potentially on Friday against the Minnesota Wild.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
