Memphis Grizzlies guard Cam Spencer (back) will not play Thursday against the Mavericks due to low back soreness, leaving Memphis short on healthy perimeter depth. Spencer's absence should help secure rotation minutes for Javon Small, Jahmai Mashack, and Rayan Rupert as the Grizzlies continue to patch together their guard rotation. Small posted 12 points, five rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes last game. Rupert delivered 14 points with two 3-pointers and one steal in 22 minutes, while Mashack played 27 minutes.
