Toronto Maple Leafs forward Calle Jarnkrok (groin) has been activated from long-term Injured Reserve, which paves the way for him to make his season debut on Monday versus the San Jose Sharks. Jarnkrok has not seen any action in 2024-25 after having groin and sports hernia surgery in November. If he can replicate his form from last year, the Maple Leafs would gain a good addition to their forwards group. In 2023-24, Jarnkrok tallied 10 goals and 21 points in 52 games. The Swedish forward is set to take Ryan Reaves' spot in the lineup on Monday. Alex Steeves has been sent back to the AHL to create space for him in the lineup.--Taavi Pailk
