Chicago White Sox shortstop prospect Caleb Bonemer went 1-for-3 with a long ball and two walks during their contest against Low-A Myrtle Beach on Wednesday evening. Bonemer was selected in the second round of the 2024 MLB Draft out of Okemos HS. Over his last 15 contests, Bonemer has been swinging a hot bat, posting a stellar .370/.523/.717 line with five doubles, one triple, three home runs, six stolen bases, and an impressive 18:17 K:BB. Seeing Bonemer continue to show power upside while having a strong eye at the plate is a promising sign. Through 46 total games with Low-A, Bonemer has posted a .946 OPS with a .295/.440/.506 line. He has gone deep five times, swiped 17 bags, and held a 46:40 BB:K. The 19-year-old will likely earn the call to High-A in the second half of the season.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
