C.J. Uzomah Misses First Practice Of The Week
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah (hip, knee) missed the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday. Uzomah did play over 90% of the offensive snaps in the Week 17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, so his injury probably isn't all that serious. However, with the Bengals potentially resting most of their starters in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Cleveland Browns, Uzomah will become an even riskier fantasy option at his position. Uzomah has been a midrange TE2 for most of the year, averaging 3.1 catches and 30.8 receiving yards per game while finding the end zone a career-high five times in 16 games played. If Uzomah is limited or doesn't play at all this weekend, tight ends Drew Sample and Mitchell Wilcox figure to benefit from more playing time.
