Byron Buxton Starting on Sunday
Byron Buxton (elbow) is in Sunday's lineup when the Twins conclude a series against the Houston Astros. Buxton was removed from Saturday's game after being hit by a pitch, but was able to avoid a serious injury. This afternoon, Buxton will cover center field and will bat at the top of the batting order. Over his last 11 contests, the 31-year-old has been quite productive at the plate, posting a .306/.435/.472 slash line with three doubles and a home run. During this stretch, Buxton has tallied 11 RBI and swiped three bags. Through 54 games this season, Buxton has been quite productive, holding a .273/.338/.502 line with 11 home runs and 12 stolen bases. This afternoon, Buxton is a strong choice in DFS facing Houston left-hander Brandon Walter.
