Bucs Will Work To Get DeSean Jackson The Ball More
7 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter said the team didn't get wide receiver DeSean Jackson the ball enough last year, and they are working on concepts to correct that in 2018. D-Jax struggled in his first season in Tampa, catching only 50 passes for 668 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games. It didn't help that quarterback Jameis Winston missed a handful of games with a shoulder injury, but expect the Bucs to make it a point to target Jackson deep down the field more this year. Jackson has bounce-back potential in his second year with the team, but he's still better off rostered in standard-scoring leagues than PPR ones.
